Évaluation globale
The courses at Portsmouth University were very comprehensive and well portrayed towards first-year students of a second , third language that made me take a lot of interest in learning and practicing them as well as applying them to oral and written translation of a wide range of texts in different subjects and the theory and practice of consecutive and simultaneous interpreting as well. My year abroad in Belgium and Germany made me realise the language structures and culture as well as enjoy living and visiting two wonderful countries.

“GREAT STAY”

I really appreciated staying in Portsmouth: all was well-organised (the campus with canteen near to the flat or the kitchen you could share with other students ; the bus which came each hour or each 30 mn to pick you). This is the university were I saw the most motivated teachers (85 % of them were motivated), the last 15 % of them were normal. I took the program "English Studies" for one year during ERASMUS. They were foreign and English students, which was really great to improve English. The city is small but you feel welcomed here.

Points forts
Student services, safe atmosphere of the city, motivated teachers
Inconvénients
There is no canteen during holidays. The food is not always healthy or good but as it is England I guess this is normal
