Travel as much as possible within the country (useful to go by car as not too big distances but expensive train tickets): Zürich, Luzern, Bern, Lausanne, Genf, Lugano, Bodensee, etc. Weekend shopping in Konstanz or Bregenz for affordable prices.

Only a few opportunities to communicate with real german speaking people as international students and swiss as well do not really use real german.
