As a foreign-trained lawyer, the first few weeks of my studies at UvA could be confusing, as knowledge of EU law is required; however, the early focus on the principles of EU law helped bridge the gap with EU-based students (in line with the international nature of the Master's program).

The Housing was very good. All the facilities one could hope for were available - internet, cable TV, bedding. As an international student I find that it was absolutely the best one could ask for.
