My courses was ok but the teachersometimes not really friendly,I had a very tough time when i did my thesis..oh Gush,I almost gave up whivh i did not!!Anyway, at my graduation day i step on in front and gave some critizises to the university board cause sometimes they put announcement eg: for exam etc too late

Put more qualitive teachers and good courses, providing more sources in the library and give a student an internship opportunity providing by the university!!!!
learning a language....learning the new thing about my deparment....learning a different computer programme like katya,pascal so on....all of this are going to make my academic life better
Try to talk with some former students since there are some courses that can be quite hard.

If you are going by Erasmus protocol I know you want to have parties and play all the time, but don't forget to go to the university and to do some essays and work because if you put that aside the courses can be harder, you should not forget that you have to do exams in the end. This University is not that easy.
