I had a great 5 year experience in the University of Patras, studying mechanical/aeronautical engineer. The most courses where on a challenging academic level with well educated professors. The courses i enjoyed the most where about thermodynamics, heat transfer, fluyd mechanics and aerodynamics where i learned the basic theories of these fields and emplemented them in challenging projects.

Overall
Professors in the Mechanical Engineering and Aeronautics Department are great. Courses are intense and you need to study hard during the semester. You can get great knowledge on theory, but lacks hands-on experience in the laboratory.

Pros
Thermodynamics and Finite Element Analysis courses are lovely.
People who wish to go there must be preparted to live in an environment where we barely don't understand a word. Hard at the beginning, but a great experience at the end.

During my experience abroad, I ... (1) Never – (4) A lot
The academic staff is well qualified with studies and experience in Ivy league universities. There is an endeavor in getting a spherical understanding in the subject of computer engineering. The way that the course is being constructed is the following: It is a five year course where you have to complete 53 courses from which 38 are core courses and the rest elective course. The first 2 years are more like an introduction to computer engineering where an individual gains an understanding of all the different sectors and in the following years through the core modules an individual gains an in depth understanding. Through the elective courses the chosen stream is selected. For example, in my case I have chosen machine learning.
