It was great, the offer free swedish lessons for international students. Most everyone speaks english though, and you could get away with not trying swedish at all.

all swedes are billingual in English (or nearly) but you'll also have a chance to attend the intensive August course in Sewdish and to continue afterwards !

It's hard to learn Swedish as you are not forced to speak it due to the high proficiency of English among the Swedes

It was difficult to learn because everyone spoke English so well. Would like to learn it if I am accepted into a master's programme there for next year.

My Swedish was never very good. Just about all of the students spoke really good english so it wasn't a problem.
