My flatmates and I liked to go to Beach, a new club in town, and we also liked to go to the Royalty pub right next to our accomodation. There was always plenty to do and we always had fun being out.

Using mobile phones (even local connections) is much more expensive in the UK than in Finland. The social life in Sunderland was very lively so it made me spend more. Local travel is cheap, but then long distance travel (by trains and coaches) isn't.
