I have no problems to communicate with tutors and academic staff. However, I found difficult to understand some Scottish people with a really strong accent.

You will be surprises by the strong local accent of the Glasgewian ppl, after a couple of week to be used to listen them you will love their accent

It was great. I had a Glaswegian flatmate that did great impressions of the junkies and NEDS. I learned to imitate the accent. Great party trick.

I sopeak mostly with international students, so I could maybe bhave improved more, but the Scottish accent is impossible to understand
