more personal work is expected from you than in French universities but there are a lot less hours.

There are lots of other interesting places and things in MAnchester... So, it may look like the uni is too boring and tidious for you. But the university is a real good one in U.K. Pleas eenjoy yourself and keep yourself busy.

If you want to make a lot of inter5national friends, I think that Grosvenor place is a very good accommodation. But I fyou want to be surrounded by Englsih people, the accommodation is too international.

To try to live in a big flat with plenty of students and, if possible, try to make native friends, not ERASMUS students, exclusively.

Final comments

A good university. The city is great for young people, although night-life and accomodation are very expensive. It's easy to travel wherever you want to, but, again, it's quite expensive.

Erasmus was the best experience I have had in my live for so many reasons that it is not easy to explain. you should try it and that you could understand why people, after such an experience, change so much!

Overall

The University of Manchester is one the largest in the UK. It has excellent facilities and a huge campus, with over 40000 students enrolled in the various schools. Its recently developed Engineering building has new labs and equipment, and it has good facilites that students can use to study.

Careers

The careers office service the university provides is excellent.
