I had no trouble communicating with other students there. The South Africans are open people and a pleasure to talk to. They always make you feel welcome and English is the common language there, although a little bit of Afrkiaan is to your advantage if you really want to impress the ladies!

It allowed me to become a part of the culture, and learn about the local people from a totally different perspective.

The housing on campus seemed nice, however, through the School for International Training, the family-stay is an integral part of the experience.
