People say that classes are really easy compared to most US standards. I don't think this is true. It's just different. There's less focus on grades and more on learning and personal development. Usually exams at the end of the course are 60-80% of your grade, so you can get by not doing much for most of the semester (and cram at the end). I thought all of my classes were at a high level and worthwhile.

More emphasis is placed on examinations, there should be a limit, and also make teaching enjoyable by holding discussions for other courses.

The only problem is at the beginning of the semester when foreign students must choose their courses, the oganization was very messy and he took me a whole week to get agreements for 4 courses... Teachers are not always aware so we must pratically run after them to get a signature.

I think the system was good because then you were always aware of your weakest points. Being given the chance to write an exam also gives one the opportunity to prove oneself especially if you have been working in groups throughout.

Sometimes a bit hard to understand, but all of my classes were fascinating. Take classes specific to this school/region when you're here. Don't waste it on things you can take at home like Calc or Psych 101! So many interesting courses

STUDY FOR FINAL EXAMS. Final exams are worth at least 50% of your final grade and are typically written essays. You need to know the course content to do well.
