The problem in Amsterdam is we're "stuck" in the small international student community since almost none of us speaks Dutch. So, we all do everything together, it is great, but there aren't a lot of mixing with the locals.

In america, everything was included in the tuition, or i would be living at home. in amsterdam, i was fronting everything myself from my loan money. If not for that, Amsterdam would have been cheeper (save for travel)
