Great array of courses to choose from but some core ones are very uninteresting. Most of the staff is very friendly and you can call them by name.

Overall
The three-year bachelor's European Studies offered by Maastricht University is well structured and it offers the opportunity to take a semester abroad to complete an internship or an exchange program in the 3rd semester. The course is attended by around 350-400 international students per year, which gives the possibility to get to know fellows students from all over the world.
The BA courses are based on EU History, Politics and Economics, combined with Research and Writing courses to provide students with social sciences tools to collect, analyze data and to do research. At the end of every course, professors ask for advice to improve the structure and content every year, thus the courses may change every 1 or 2 years.
Some of the courses include excellent lectures given by experts in the field Professors are well qualified and available to students to help and guide them in the different fields of research thanks to their professional background.
The BA is based on the PBL system.
The final thesis topic can be chosen by the students among the provided themes.
