Université des Sciences Humaines (Strasbourg II)

Great tarte flambees at les trois brasseurs (which has been renamed to just les brasseurs now I think). Most of the international students I knew congegrated there because of good cheap beer and lots of good deals during happy hour. Le trou on a monday night was a big hit but now I think it might have shut down. There are also salsa classes in cafe des anges. If you fancy a nice relaxing drink with a good crowd then I suggest Le gayot. A great pasta takeaway place I recommend is near le gayot, and there are also great kebab places in the city centre. Cinemas has to be the UGC which is the biggest one near the bridge at the Esplanade tramstop. Anything else just give me a shout... I can't think of anything right now. :)

Favourite cafes/restaurants/clubs: l'abattoir, la brasserie de la lanterne, le mosquito if on a shoestring, Gallia, le brasseur for food, la laitterie for music, any Erasmus nights. La festival de la musique, fireworks on new years eve and bastille day. Visiting Alsace and Heidelburg and Freiburg in Germany.

mh...I think that MOLODOI is the best place to listen to a very good music; I have never gone to restaurants because they're very expensive; the best bar is ABAT TOIR (petite france). A lot of kebab, turque/arab/chinois/japon/...restaurants cheap and good!!!

My friends and I used to visit a bar called "Jimmy´s Pub". You could find a lot of international students over there, as well as french students and it was pretty fun, because you could get to know a lot of people

The Irish Times if you want English TV! The Trou is the place to go on Monday nights during the term; the 3 Brasseurs if you want cheap food and the Rafiot or the Salamandre if you want to go clubbing.
