Évaluation globaleThis university is excellent. There is a high academic level paired with rigor. The staff and the professors are hard-working, and will usually help students. However, class sizes are very large. If you prefer small classes, this is not the place for you.
Also the Ruhrgebiet area of Germany can be ugly at times.

This university is excellent. There is a high academic level paired with rigor. The staff and the professors are hard-working, and will usually help students. However, class sizes are very large. If you prefer small classes, this is not the place for you.

Pourquoi?
It was near to both the university and the train station. I had the opportunity to meet people of many different nationalities and cultures.

While the accommodation was quite old fashioned at the time, it served it's purpose was very cost effective and near to all amenities. ie. supermarket, university, sports centre, publin transport etc etc

Coming to study abroad really improved my German skills to levels I would have thought impossible back in the US. Study abroad really helped me acquire many more words and become much much faster in speaking. Academic assignments in German helped to improve my written German.
