Housing
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Independently - My choice
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why?
Living in an apartment with other people didn't cause any problems for me. In the end, we were like a little family (all brothers and sisters) and that felt just great!

Rooms in the city centre are quite expensive and most of the time you don't have much space. My appartment was just 10 minutes walk from the city centre and it was clean and not too expensive (250 Euro/month).

Housing
Type of housing: A room exchange
Arranged by: Independently - My choice
If returning, I would choose: A room exchange
Why?
At Bologne everything is really near, the room I got on my exchange had the best location (five minute walk from the university) and living with other local students was the best experience for getting to know the culture and language

Housing
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: On campus
Why?
because you can meet more people than living in an appartment. Besides, it is easier to speak more time with people who has the host language as a mother tongue.

It was very nice, but it could be better. I hadn't my personal space to study and it was very long from the university

A list of rooms for rent was provided by the University. I used this list to find my room in Bologna. Other housing options are harder to find in Bologna because there city is small and there are many students.
