My house was far away from the center of the city but it was great because it was a whole building with students and you can meet lots of students (erasmus or not) like you fastly.

I had more independence and in the student residences I would have had to share a room as well.

I had many problems to find a house in Bologna and it was quite expensive. At the end I had to share a room and I was not lucky with my flatmates either.

the unievrsity of bologna does help the students at all, it is a terrible mess!!
so the only was is to be a small group and find together a flat...it works!!
