i had friends who spoke fluent spanish and other erasmus students learning, but had little contact to other germans. this helped a lot!

Its difficult to contact anyone in the university - just noone seems to be interested in you. Outside th university the spanish language was difficult to understand at the beginning, because of the andalusian acent.
