Housing
Type of housing: With a family
Arranged by: Independently - My choice
If returning, I would choose: With a family
Why?
I had a great time with the family with which we rented our room. The room was quite small but we had access to internet, bathroom, living area, and kitchen.

Languages
Language of instruction: Spanish
Was learning Spanish a key decision factor?
Yes, I wanted to improve my Spanish
How much did you improve your Spanish?
My level before: Everyday knowledge (shopping, directions, etc.)
My level after: At ease in most situations
Language difficulties
Administrative / Institutional
Personal comments
Spanish seem to be very friendly towards strangers but they take the opportunity to use their english skills when they can. Courses in Spanish were the most useful part but also the communication with the local people (e.g. landlady who did not speak english at all etc.)

This experience allowed me to acquire a very good level in Spanish and English because my classes were a Postgraduate in International Marketing on both languages so that I am at ease in a professional situation with both languages. Moreover it brought me maturity and allowed me to build better my future professional project. I have now a more critical point of view of Marketing Strategies and developped my creativity in a certain way during the course.

I had free access to the computers wich all had free internet access, there was a seperate building with all kind of sports accommodations (fitness equipment, tennis courts,...), there where two restaurants, there was a lab to learn different languages, rooms for concerts, the buildings were surrounded by gardens etc. I diden´t feel like lacking anything, so I can assure you the accommodation was more than fine.
