1. That the UAB was really THAT far from the city centre. 2. That the UAB really isn't organized at all. 3. That clases are in Catalan sometimes.

Barcelona is great, a city with many possibilities. I love Barcelona. But the UAB is trouble. I didn't like the university at all. If you have the opportunity to go abroad with ERASMUS, DO!!! But don't come to the UAB!

Barcelona has an intense schedule of night life, activities, concerts, exposicions, etc. You are never bored! Just by the papers and take a look at the cultural section.

Learning Spanish was not that difficult for me because I was already able to speak French and Italian, which is similar. Nevertheless, it was hard to understand catalán.

live in Barcelona if you want to enjoy your stay.. Staying in the suburbs doesn't give you the same opportunities to go out, for exemple..
