Final comments
Life at the Vila (the local campus) is great, except during week-ends (all the Spaniards tend to go back home). Take the opportunity to travel around Spain with other foreign students.

Although 40 minutes by train outside Barcelona, a frequent and efficient train service ensured that getting there on time wasn't a problem. The social life on campus wasn't as good as that back home. Most students tended to socialis off campus in Barcelona.

I already spoke spanish, so it was not that hard to understand and to speak. The problem was the Catalan language. Now i understand the catalan, but i hardly speak it.
