Courses are in Catalan and Spanish, but most of it are in Catalan. You need to know before choosing courses, who is the profesor, in order to know if he prefers to speak Catalan or Spanish.
By the way, it allows to learn two languages during a year.

In general Spain is cheaper than Belgium but , Barcelona is not Spain, it is a big cosmopolitan where everything ( except food ) is about the same as home.

as I said in Cataluna there are two languages you have to deal with; local language is catalan which is pretty different from spanish; you do not have to learn catalan, but you will probably have some problems with it; but is worth the city.
