My first impression was scary, I arrived in Mazatlan, I was without my luggage, it got lost, and I couldn't hear well, because of the plane, and I was trying to speak spanish to a family of people who didn't know my language, it was difficult. Later, I felt at home with my new family, it was a great feeling to feel loved and as though I belonged.

The family that I stayed with was great. I now speak spanish fluentley , know all about meican foods and traditions, and can say that I now have a mexican mother and brother.

Tec offers both a family and residence option. The residences at the Guadalajara campus, are on campus, and thus very far from where many of the other students live (Providencia), the clubs and from the ceter of town.

I lived with three mexican students, I discovered a lot of things, such as the culture, the religion, the way of life.
It is the only way to have a total immersion.

I think Mexico is a very interesting country, I met a lot of people, I could shared some emotions, some ideas.
I had the chance to live with three mexican roomates and it was a very great experience.

Because it is so easy to find a nice house. I just walked around campus and calles some landlords and finallt got a nice place with 5 others.
