The Phone and food is a rip, otherwise I was there to have fun and get everything out of it that I could. So I spent a lot of money. Alchol is very expensive be forewarned. The food is weird in the fact that it is almost as expensive to eat in as it is to eat out.

Don't buy books, they are hard to sell and I only used two in a whole year. In Australia you can check them out at the Library. I had Internet banking and never opened an Aussie account and it worked beautifully, also if you need a large amount of cash you can get cash advances off a credit card from the Australian Post with no service fee. Anyways my bank never charged any intrest. I spent about USD$14,000 in 11 months

Make sure if you go to Queensland that you don't go between December and March, all it does is rain. Also Look at Brisbaine, it was a great great city to see and there is so much to do close, it is also cheeper. Also I would recommend meeting some Australian exchange students at your home school. I did and it was the single best thing I did. When I got to Melbourne I had Assie friends to show me around and a place to stay.

It is a good school in the heart of Melbourne. Another great school with a terrific reputation is Melbourne University.

Overall
The majority of the teachers are amazing but you do still get some that don't care. The content that I've learned from this course so far has been extremely helpful, and I'm starting to constantly think of marketing strategies, advertising campaigns everything for companies I walk past or I review advertisements companies have done and imagine my own personal approach. RMIT provides a lot of integrated learning approaches and includes many experimental activities which I believe helps and aids the learning experience.

went out EVERY night... so i definitely spent more than back home. I spent more on accomodation because the location was really good, a nice area, but it was totally worth it. The cost of uni was actually less. I travelled heaps because I love to, but really, Australia is more or less the same price-wise as the states. The plane ticket didn't help any though.

A perfect city university, but don´t expect a campus life if you´re going to the business department.
