Do check out the travel package for backpackers. Lotsa fun. Do ask for direction when you are lost. Friendly people everywhere.

Housing
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Independently - I had no other choice
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why?
Living in an apartment allowed my eating habits to remain healthy. The privacy, space, freedom and peaceful atmosphere was great to get away from the other exchange students.

Personal comments
It would be much more helpful if there were a few apartments that the university kept specifically to rent to international students. The hassels of breaking leases, and being homeless when we initially arrived caused a lot of stress.

Just go! Don't worry, everything works out in the end if you are not afraid to ask people for help. Australians are very helpful.

Overall
It is an excellent program that has allowed me to study in the United States of America. The program has given me the opportunity to work on design projects, learn about coding, various computer programs and challenged me to grow and be self motivated.

Pros
Excellent Program, with great teachers
Cons
The studies take place on two different University campuses in the same city, travel can be a challenge.
