learning and friendly environment. Discussions mostly based on problems and their solutions keeping in view the diversity of students and their ideas.

actively engaging students and listen to their problems either related to studies or extra curricular activities.

Cons

The university is not at one place rather it has multiple building blocks spread in whole city Aachen, due to which students and professors have to travel from one place to another to attend or deliver lectures. Although connections for commute are good

The thesis projects and internship in the university are very helpful to gain practical experience for the engineering market industry.

The university found me this cheap accomodation offer. Leaving in an apartment-share community was what I wished for. Compared to friends in Aachen, my place may be in a shaby quarter but still good, cheap and not too far from the city center.

The liberty of choosing any course is disturbing and for a foreigner quite hard to handle at the beginning. A little bit more guidance at the beginning of each semester for foreign students would be welcome.

I didn't experience any financial surprises. I had acurate information. I don't have any specific cost-saving tips. There were student discounts and weekend tickets for regional trains for budget travelling when I was there.
