Final comments
Travel by train is very expensive, but if you are under 26 it's possible to get a discount (WildCard 50,25%). Nightlife is also expensive, it's good to visit placed before 11 pm, usually before this time the entrance is free.
The most important thing is to have a BIKE! Public transport and taxi as you expect is also very expensive.
With the bike there is also more fun, and it's healthy :) x

My stay in Denmark has made me realise how isolated you can get if you don't have a basic knowledge of the native language. As a tourist you can do without, but that's not the case if you have to live there for a longer time

Final comments
Learn Danisch before you leave for Denmark (at least the basic stuff). Although the Danisch speak englisch well, they expect you to learn their language (they are very proud of their culture)It will make you realise how great Denmark and its culture is.

There are two weeks at the beginning of the semester during which it is possible to go to every courses in order to choose the ones we will follow after. It is really important to go to EVERY courses during those weeks to make one own opinion about the class. Indeed subjects can appear interesting but they are not really in reality and vice versa.

The ESN-board was one of the bests points to get help from. They and my mentor were my "family" at the begining.
It was OK, I liked to be here, actually, I am waiting for the answer about a job here in Odense.

I wasn't in the dorm of mine host university (dorm of another school). But mine university provided for the first semester accomodation for everybody (different places, costs...) It's hard to say in general.
