It's got a good balance of study and social atmosphere. Lecture halls are big and comfortable and the lecturers and tutors are approachable.

Forget heavy winter clothing. Melbourne doesn't get too cold in the winter. A mid warm sweater is enough.

Fairly, but I would recommend living in the city, or going to the University of Melbourne. Monash is in the middle of nowhere.

Bring as much money as you possibly can and spend every cent. Travel and meet everyone. Don't leave with any regrets.

Monash has great university life and great academic courses. The facilities are also constantly being updated and improved. Depending on your course, there are different levels of tutor and lecturer ability.
