Course registration was a bit of a pain. You cannot be sure that the courses listed on the web-site are offered that semester or at that campus.

Choose your classes at the Caulfield campus. It is a lot closer to the city and more accessible.

It is a good university though they have problems here like anywhere else (financial etc.). Overall good study facilities (for Arts students).

Caulfield is a more central and smaller campus than Clayton, try to take classes there.
There a lots of Asian students at Monash, so if you are in any way interested in Asian languages and culture it might be a good place to go.
Travel: Go to Canberra, it is a beautiful town.

Overall
The course offered portable and lasting experience, which has helped me easily accommodate to almost any career. The lecturers , the professors, the curriculum, is tailor made to serve the needs of students , thus enabling for a smooth and stress free transition from Secondary Education. The only downside to studying General Arts is the little or no credit and recognition the job market gives to Arts graduates.

Pros
The enrichment the course offers in providing a thorough and general knowledge
Cons
very little to no chance of securing a job in the arts industry upon completion of the course.

It was great, but you will get too bored if you live in the dorms.

The experience was awesome , I will remember it for the rest of my life , be careful because Australia is addictive, you may have a reverse cultural shock when you come back... well everybody has it. If you are planning to stay longer than few months think about buying a used car when you will get there, it will give you independence and it will make you save up tons of money for public transportations , you will easily sell it before you will leave the country.
