Personal comments
Don't spend your money in the begining of the master!! Many students get all excited about the fact of meeting new ppl from all over the world and that stuff, and go out everyday (lunch, coffees, etc). Before you realize you've spent up to twice you thought on spending everymonth! You can save a lot of money in food by shopping in supermarkets like Lidl, Aldy or Colruyt and then cooking home. Rent a second-hand bycicle in Leuven. To travel in Belgium by train, buy the go-pass. To go abroad, travel in eurolines (bus) or in ryanair.
