Istanbul Teknik Unversitesi (ITU)

My university is the 2nd oldest university in turkey since 1773 and one of the top universities. Addition to that Istanbul Technical University known as the home of the engineers and only technical university in Turkey that only gives technical education. I’m studying management engineering and aim of this department is to educate managers with technical knowledge. Moreover, I did my erasmus in Würzburg University, Germany and studied Economics in there. It helped me a lot to improve myself in European education system and in German.

ITU has a main campus which is described as the 7th most beautiful and green campus in Europe and Asia and has several historical campuses that are centered in the middle of Istanbul, Turkey's Metropol city.
The education system is a little bit rusty but still reputable and gives a direction to Turkey's reliable projects and scientific developments.
ITU is one of the most crowded universities, so social life is really colorful and you can find any type of personality.

Some course are thought in english. Some courses are in turkish. In architectural faculty lectures are made in both studios and classes

A top three university in Turkey. It has campuses in beautiful locations of Istanbul. A good university for technical education. Also there are nice sports facilites and a few good student groups.

ITU has five campuses in Istanbul. Maslak Campus is the most popular one and it is fairly good. Lecturers are mostly helpful to students.
