ITU has been selected as a best engineering university in Turkey by top ranking instutions and this success definetly does not coincidence. ITU has lots of world-wide known professors and researches.
There are 4 campus and each one is located in a different places. Most beatuful and big one is ayazaga campus. Ayazaga campus is quite green and peaceful also there are lots of lab and buildings in it.
I highly recommend the students or academic person to join the university facebook and social media pages. These accounts are very actual and really helps for the understanding unşversity working way.

Évaluation globale
Istanbul Technical University is an outstanding technical university in Turkey. Talking about Faculty of Architecture, students have a beautiful, lively and historical university atmosphere. In the first year of architecture, they are mostly spending time in design atelier with a Bosphorus view. Design courses are tough and dense but eye-opening. During my bachelor and master education, I developed a significant respect to other opinions and realised the power of my dreams.

The school itself is pretty well-known around Turkey and it lives up to the hype. But not all the professors are willing to use the right materials for the classes they teach, and some of them just do not really deserve to teach at a school that has such a good reputation around the country. The instructional plans for all majors are pretty appropriate and comprehensive.

My university is the 2nd oldest university in turkey since 1773 and one of the top universities. Addition to that Istanbul Technical University known as the home of the engineers and only technical university in Turkey that only gives technical education. I’m studying management engineering and aim of this department is to educate managers with technical knowledge. Moreover, I did my erasmus in Würzburg University, Germany and studied Economics in there. It helped me a lot to improve myself in European education system and in German.
