I think it was a great chance to learn French. At the beggining it was a bit hard but in the end I didnt have any difficulties at University or in every-day life.

My French was already pretty good before leaving, so I did not have many difficulties once I found myself there. Anyway, I would advise everyone to talk as much as posssible with the French people, in order to improve their language ability and not just stay around people who have the same mother tongue.
