Obtaining the Yellow Card, you will be able to buy pints of a pound! at Tron on wednesday. It is full of erasmus students. I also recomend Hoogshead and El Barrio on monday. gaia on thuesday . Establisment on Thrusday, potterrow on friday and Spionage on saturday. edinburgh has a great night life but you must know where to go each day beacuse there are great offers. Furthermore don´t miss Frankenstein, it is wounderfull but expensive.

Great University but bad communication
Shona B
Germany, Graduate
Business Studies, 2020
Overall
I have studied at this university for a total of 5 years. All professors are very helpful and good to work with. The only issue is that IT is very far behind. Information is slow and quite often than not, what is needed to be provided at the right time is not. Grades that should be released within a month take three months. Students are left in the dark.

Course recommendations
Assuming your English is really good at the start of your exchange, you might be able to skip some of the courses obligatory to exchange students, because they can be a bit boring if you already know the culture quite a bit.

Fashion studies at heriot watt
Josefine B
United Kingdom, Graduate
Management Science, 2020
Overall
Heriot watt is a great place to study anything related to fashion. Unfortunately the fashion/textiles school is based in Galashiels and therefore not as accessible as a uni in Edinburgh would be but that is probably the only downside. Apart from that it's a great place to study with great teachers and interesting courses

I came to that University to study something very specific: I wanted to prepare my exams for the 1997-1998 Certificate in English for Business in the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry and they really help me, so as a result, I pass with Credit in most of the areas I studied: Business English, Bookkeeping and Accounts International Trade Sales and Negotiation
