“Great curriculum, horrible grading system”

Overall
Everything about the University is great. However, the grading system is highly behavioural due to TAs grading the exam papers. It leads to lack of standardisation. It also doesn't seem that the college holds recruitment sessions. It's all on students and volunteers.

In the Netherlands every single person can speak English. I didnt find anyone who didn´t.
I improved my English very much, as i was always in contact with international students.
Moreover, my roomate was from Canada, so that was an important support for my enlgish too.

almost everybody in the netherlands speaks really good english and at university were a wide range of english courses offered.
