I got a room at a newly renovated dorm. I was pleased to find a well equipped kitchen and a cozy room for a fair price. One thing I would recommend internationals is to arrange for an internet connection for the time after the arrive and before they get their login credentials from the university.

If you have to write a Hausarbeit, try to get it started at least, before the semester is over. If you wait and do it once you've returned to your home country, it's really hard to make yourself complete it and turn it in.

I love studying in Tübingen, it's a beautiful little city, loads of students and cultural events and a nice location. You can basically study anything you want, which I love the most about Tübingen.

supermarkets can be very cheap as well as beer; housing was reasonable; be careful of cell phone plans, they require two year contracts, i got a pay as you go
