well... there is not too much of nightlife in poitiers! The clubs and the locals are trashy but the school organises open bars in clubs and it s fun because the whole school goes! In the city centre there are very good and affordable restaurants. Cafeterias are quite good in the central square.

For the acommodation I live with my parents at home, the cost of life in France is higher which contributes to spend more in food and night life. Concerning the travel, it was an excellent opportunity to visit the neighbouring countries of France.

French people dont speak english! They know that you dont speak french either but they keep speaking in french very fast and it can be annoying some times! but this is a good way to start learning the host language

Travel is expensive but you can get your travel card, you would like to go out of Poitiers every weekend so I spend more money in travel that anything else
