French people dont speak english! They know that you dont speak french either but they keep speaking in french very fast and it can be annoying some times! but this is a good way to start learning the host language

Following an English course in an French environment has considerly improved my knowledge in both languages. As a Dutch speaker, I can now easily change from French to English and vice versa.

It was a very good experience for me to practise my english. First because I was sharing acommodation with english speaking students and second because my teachers were all english speakers.
