It's really not necessary to know Danish, but I don't regret learning it.
Denmark doesn't have much nature, you have to go to Sweden and Norway for that.
Swedish and Norwegian seem easier to learn than Danish.
In other words, I'd probably choose Sweden if I went again.
A lot of people complained that they didn't realise how hard it would be to leave all their new friends at the end of the semester. There were lots of tears, it was messy.

The international student community was awesome! We had so much fun that now, nearly a year later we're still emailing each other and complaining about how much we're missing it. Every night there was a party and we all just had so much fun together.
I chose subjects which I wasn't too serious about so I could concentrate on having fun, and getting into the culture. Although I'm normally a pretty serious student I don't regret it at all.
I was there in the Spring semester and I think the students in the Autumn semester are more serious(?). Also, it's great because the whole time you're there the weather is getting better and better and then when the semester is over you have the summer to go on trips with your new friends!

It's always worth it to visit Denmark for a semester or two. The country has a lot of culture and the University has a lot of facilities and the people are very friendly and helpful

It was a very good experience and I met so many kind people !!!! The only problem ? the difficulties to become friend with danish people !!!
Remember to have fun! Take lots of pictures from the beginning because you will have the most free time at the beginning of the semester.

They should really try integrating the Danish students with the international. We often felt segregated from them and it created animosity amongst many. Also, better accommodation should be provided, especially at the rate they charge for housing.

The best part for me were the international students I met and the classes I took. I mainly went to Denmark because I could use English there, but if you want to learn another language and have more fun, choose a warmer European country!! :)
