I wish I had known...

At all, all the information gave me from DTU was enough to arrive to DTU and start with the social life in Denmark.

In my opinion:

Do not travel with too many things (luggage), do not forget the bike (but it is possible to buy one in Denmark, of course).

I'll recommend everyone to visit as much of Denmark as they could, and if it's possible visit Sweden and Norway too. And go to the turist information in Lyngby, because the woman that works there is nice and really helpful.

all in all it was anice year for me and in my oppinion I had better conditions to studt than in Germany, therefore I applied for a MSc degree and was accepted and stayed a year longer

I think that it is a good idea to go to this university because it is very close to Copenhage. The academic level is good and there are good activities for the students too. The unique inconvenience is the acommodation problem as I have commented before

Nordic people is quite shy and it is hard to begin any relation with them. You must start any attempt to make a new friend.

From Denmark it is easy to travel around the country. Norway and Sweden must be visited as well as Germany.

Apply for a room at campus private! Take an early course in danish! Don't choose to many courses!

You have to work really hard if you're going to DTU to meet danes, if you're going just to meet other students (not in particular danes) it's a good choice, it's a very intternational university
