Course recommendations
There is no better place to study art and art history than paris. you get a free pass to all the wonderful museums, including the Louvre. You Can visit the studios of the most famous painters around Paris, like Monet and Van Gogh. Paris is the city of art. Generally, the quality of teaching at AUP is great.

For housing, I live in a super cheap chambre de bonne which is cheaper than the places my friends are renting out for college back home in Orlando, Florida. Travel is cheaper because I use Ryanair in Europe.

You have to buy the Carte Orange for transportation in Paris. For traveling inside or outside France, renting a car and splitting the cost (if you are 3-4 people) is much cheaper than taking the train. We also used to buy wine and drink it before going to clubs, which saved us a lot of money, since drinks in clubs were very expensive.

international students in the american school of paris are a bunch of pompous pricks that think they know all about the city when they actually know nothing. they stay in the richest area in Paris, where the university is, and act like stars because they are the sons/daughters of so and so.

Etoile (night club), Bain douche (night club), Bois de Bouglogne (forest, garden), The cafe in the Quartier Latin, Bario Latino, VIP (night club), Jardin de louxembourg (garden), Monmarte (specially sunday mornings) and all the monuments in Paris are a MUST SEE!!
