I wished I had realised that even slight cultural differences do matter a lot. I did not expect to have cultural difficulties being German. But I had.

Be prepared to study at the worlds lagrest university for business administration (23.000). This is a mass university and you need to organise everything yourself. nobody is going to care for weather you attend classes or pass exams. It is all in your responsibility.

Transfer all your money in one transfer that is cheapest, but It take over a Week to do if you do it the cheapest way.

Overall
The university has a very good rating and is popular among European students. There are many international students with Erasmus as well and the school has many partner universities around the globe. However, it did not give my the desired practical knowledge or skills I would have had wished.

Make sure to take in the cultural interests of the city. You can get tangled in all the student activities. Just make sure to wander off the main traffic routes.

Traveling is easy and cheap, so definitely take advantage of all of the opportunities you have, with the student organization (ÖH) and on your own, within Austria and abroad
