Overall
My rate is zero stars, but since the platform requires a star, I would be given maxiumun of 1 star.
My experience working at Vesalius College was unfortunately very disappointing. During my time there, I felt that the working environment was often unprofessional, with communication between employees sometimes being unnecessarily rude, blunt, and lacking respect.
I also had concerns about the overall value offered to students. Tuition fees are extremely high, exceeding €15,000 in some cases, while the institution does not have a significant international ranking presence that would justify such costs. Students and employees deserve a stronger academic environment, better recognition, and clearer standards.
There were also issues regarding basic facilities and hygiene that, in my opinion, did not meet the expectations of an institution charging such high fees. A university environment should provide a clean, respectful, and supportive atmosphere for both students and staff.
Furthermore, I felt that employees and students were not always treated with the level of respect and independence they deserved. Decision-making often appeared highly centralized, with limited transparency and little separation between different parties involved.
Overall, my experience left me with the impression that Vesalius College needs significant improvements in workplace culture, student support, transparency, and institutional standards.

Careers
Communication was often inefficient, and the level of personalized guidance and follow-up did not meet the standards one would expect from a dedicated career service. Students investing significant amounts in their education deserve stronger career support, clearer advice, and more proactive assistance in preparing for professional opportunities.
The Career Office should focus more on accessibility, transparency, and building meaningful connections with students, alumni, and employers. A stronger commitment to student outcomes would greatly improve the overall experience.

Pros
Some advertised advantages appear more like marketing points than realities. The gap between the institution’s image and the actual experience can be quite noticeable.
Cons
Very high fees with limited perceived value. Weak institutional recognition and no major ranking presence. Poor communication and unprofessional workplace culture. Limited respect and support for staff and students.

Overall
It has been a few years now since I graduated but I realise I still carry a deep disgust and rejection towards Vesalius college. I studied there full time and the students and staff were both abhorrent in their behaviour and attitude. There were 3-4 members of staff (admin and professor) that were particularly nice but the rest were unprofessional and even unpleasant. One staff member in particular breached confidentiality agreements and put a student at risk. I sometimes pass by the university still today and I feel unease and disapproval every time. The atmosphere is that of an American high school in the movies and not that of a higher level education institution. Students and professors alike participated in gossiping and sharing confidential information such as grades or putting down certain students in front of the others. There were even cheating scandals at the Dean level. Value for money was also not there. The campus consisted of 3 classrooms and 1 downstairs area. Door handles would fall off, lockers would break, in general the facilities were underwhelming. The level of education was satisfactory but not enough to justify the price of tuition.

Careers
They have no careers office. They have 1 person in charge of internships. Internships aren’t necessary to graduate but if interested, you are provided with a list of internship places the university has contacts with. However there is no real work or project based around this and no real paper to hand in after based on the internship.
