I could learn the language in about 3-4 months. I mean, I could speak the basic. When it was time to leave after 9 months, I was doing pretty well. Locals were very helpful, but I must say that it was my teachers who were brilliant in teaching Serbian.

courses are tought in serbian! the only way to assist them in english is by seeing the professors on a regular basis in their consuktation hours. i did it like that and have to say that it worked really well for me.
