Personal comments
The house i was living in was located in London, Canada Water tube station. In my opinion it was very well located, around 25 minutes from university. It was in the dockland`s area, near from the city just in font of the Millenium Dome. It wasn`t new, but cosy, nice and clean. All means of transportion were very close.
I was sharing it with other four mates. I met them there, and they were also university students, but from different courses (Masters).
Although we were all from different nationalities , Germany, USA, Portugal, and UK, it didn`t take long to form a family. It was a very rewarding experience and a lot of knowledge (culture, academic, social, religion) was also shared.
At the house everyone got a room for himself, there were two bathrooms and a kitchen for all of us. We also had a backyard where we use to do barbeques. Indeed it was a very pleasent experience.

Personal spending habits
I spent more than at home because London's cost of life is very high and it is hard not to pay more than in France. I pay for my accomodation each week what I paid each month in France.

I think the price of the accomodation was really surprising as well as the nightlife...but it doesn't prevent you from enjoying yourself!
