You must travel through the Scandinavian countries and visit Russia.
You should take a very warm jacket and good snow boots.
Try skiing and donīt forget to go to the sauna (and after take bath in a frozen lake).

The university of Tampere is a very good place for international students. You can find here a lot of native speakers and well-qualified professors.
The knowlege which I got here is vey prctical and you do not have to learn everything by heart.

Go to Tampere! It is a splendid place to study, to travel (you should go to Helsinki, Rovaniemi,St.Petesburg, Stokholm). But prepare yorselves for much higher expanses, especially if you are from Westeurope.

Donīt hesitate to travel everywhere, itīs a little bit expensive but itīs worth it : St Petersburg, Moscow, Stochkolm, Oslo, Estonia, ....
