Évaluation globaleI graduated with a Master of Commerce at The University of Sydney. I previously came to USYD as an exchange student and decided to stay for my postgraduate studies. There is a lot of freedom when it comes to choosing your classes or the projects you want to work on compared to university in France. I also like university here better as it is more challenging. Most of my classmate were international students (very few native Australians) so I improved my cross-cultural communications skills as well.

While being in a foreign country you just don't think about expenses as carefully as in your home country. So I spent more money, especially for travelling and nightlife.

It takes a couple of days/weeks to organize a money transaction from your home country to your bank account. A credit card is necessary in many situations.
And: If you do spent time on looking for cheap options regarding travelling, going out, you can save money. Internet is a powerful and very useful institution in Australia!

The University of Sydney has a beautiful campus. It is ranked among the top in the world. There is a vibrant student community. Students are healthy, active and open to trying new things. The professors are generally good with some exemptions. There is a tutoring system which greatly helps students and the tutors are mostly excellent.
