Overall
University of Southampton is a top university in the UK, it is also one of the Russel Group Universities. You can access to a very wide range of library resources as well as other tools for your academic research. Winchester school of Art is one of the university campuses. It is a nice and quiet campus with an artistic environment. Students can access to Photo studios, film studios as well as other resources. Overall, UoS is a great choice for International students to consider.

Personal comments
No, I really enjoyed my academic life. I was following academic courses (Astronautics and Spacecraft Engineering Design) and I was doing a research project for the Astronautics Department of the University at the same time. I was very free to organize myself. I had to do marketing researches and then provide a design solution for a micro-spectrometer to be mounted on a nano-satellite. The aim of the nano-satellite constellation (several nano-satellites on orbit) is to make measurements of the ocean colour and radiations.

This year abroad was a very important experience for me. It was hard work but I also had a lot of fun with students from many different cultures. I can strongly recommend studying at the University of Southampton.
