The accommodation was well-organised, sufficient for almost all of the students, a bit expensive compared to my home country.

“A very useful course learned in the university”
Lian J
United Kingdom, Graduate
Industrial Relations and Personnel Management, 2019
Overall
I would like to review something about the professional development course. In this course, the teacher taught us many professional and detailed skills of interviewing and manging. During this module, there were also many mocked interviews and conflicts which made students understand the significant skills such as time mangment and dealing with different kinds of emergencies.

Some local Yorshire accents difficult; British accents generally difficult at first; many international students learning English-speak clearer and slower than usual-some are more used to British accents than American accents.

Personal comments
there were several good night clubs, of which my favourite place was roxy, especially the students' night on wednesdays. pulse'n'vogue was quite impressive, uropa was pretty fine although small, and republic had some nice parties as well. also the theme parties at the uni were cool. the best pubs were in broomhill (i can't remember the names..) where i lived. as for shopping, you could find everything you needed in meadowhall shopping centre.
