Excellent balance between a University with a high reputation and a city with the best night life after London. Excellent place if you want to travel the whole UK from there.

Final comments
If you want to challenge your intellectual mind or crazy party life, study in Manchester. Between these two extremes I don't see any other reasons why you should choose this particular university.
